Tim Edgar is an Independent Communication and Public Affairs Consultant, Freelance Journalist and Communication Coach.
Tim is British but has spent most of his career overseas. He has lived and worked in the Middle East, the Far East and for the past 20 years in Brussels, Belgium.
He is a former daily newspaper journalist and TV news reporter who later moved into public relations and marketing communications.
Tim began his career as a regional daily newspaper journalist in the United Kingdom. He subsequently moved to the Middle East where he launched and edited one of the first English-language daily newspapers in the region, the Gulf News.
He has since worked for a number of leading global public relations consultancies in Europe and the Far East including Shandwick, Burson-Marsteller and Porter Novelli and he has orchestrated communication programmes in the Middle East, USA and Latin America.

Tim is a registered lobbyist in Brussels and London and is an active member of the UK National Union of Journalists (NUJ) and the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC).
