Tim Edgar is an Independent Communication and Public Affairs Consultant, Freelance Journalist, videographer and Communication Coach.
Tim is British but has spent most of his career overseas. He has lived and worked in the Middle East, the Far East, and for the past 25 years in Brussels, Belgium. He now has Belgian nationality.
He is a former daily newspaper journalist and TV news reporter who later moved into public relations and marketing communications.
Tim began his career as a regional daily newspaper journalist in the United Kingdom. He subsequently moved to the Middle East where he launched and edited one of the first English-language daily newspapers in the region, the Gulf News.
He has since worked for several leading global public relations consultancies in Europe and the Far East, including Shandwick, Burson-Marsteller, Porter Novelli, and SEC Newgate, and he has orchestrated communication programmes in the Middle East, USA and Latin America.
