Although his core competencies are communication and public affairs, Tim has in-house marketing management experience and trained in brand management at Ashridge Business School in the UK.


He spent several years as a Brand Manager at Allied Breweries, responsible for the launch and marketing of a new national beer brand in the UK as well as having marketing responsibility for a regional brewery and its portfolio of locally brewed beers.


He also headed the team that was responsible for a new brand positioning of Drambuie in the UK and spent nearly three years as the head of Diethelm Consumer Products Division in Malaysia, responsible for a team of seven marketing managers involved in the marketing and promotion of a range of products from Europe and the United States.
