Experience
Tim began his career as a staff journalist on an evening newspaper in the UK before becoming a television news reporter. He was the founding editor of the Gulf News, one of the first English language daily newspapers in the Middle East (please see Gulf News: Publishing Pioneer).
As a communication consultant he has subsequently spent many years as a business feature and news writer, copywriter, media strategist, media spokesman and media trainer.
Although much of my writing is now copywriting or ghostwriting for various clients, he has always maintained close contact with media organisations and journalists. During the 20 years he has been living and working in Brussels, he has worked closely with the Brussels and European press corps.
He is an active member of the UK National Union of Journalists (NUJ) and the Brussels Press Club, and is a long-standing member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR), the International Federation of Journalists (IJF), and the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC).
